What it is
Alex created Miami Founders on July 17, 2025 because he kept meeting the same person in Miami: someone building something real, working from their apartment, and quietly isolated. The city is full of founders, but founders mostly work alone. So he started a WhatsApp group where they could find each other.
Today it's 130 plus members across South Beach, Brickell, Wynwood, and the Design District, reaching all the way up to Fort Lauderdale. Builders, business owners, agency founders, creators, and operators who show up, cowork, and actually know each other.
It's entirely free. The point is not another paid mastermind. The point is the people.
The first event
On July 16, 2025, the day before the WhatsApp group even existed, 22 local entrepreneurs showed up to the Miami Founders Backyard BBQ. Somehow, all men. Alex and Vinny each gave a keynote: Vinny on compounding efforts by working with family, Alex on the power of organic social media and how overall watch time leads to higher conversion rates.
Everyone was split into groups based on a pre-event form, so the M&A people talked M&A, the social media people talked social media, and the agency operators talked operations. The sentiment that kept coming back: there need to be more chill hangouts for entrepreneurs exactly like this. A real backyard, a real barbecue, new faces, and real stories. Very unique, very wholesome, very grounded, very real. The group chat went live the next day.

The events
Monthly coworking sessions at cafes around Miami, laptops open, coffee flowing, real work getting done next to real people. And one or two times a year, a bigger event with speakers. Almost everything is free, and when an event is paid, it's really, really cheap on purpose. This is for getting to know the community on a regular basis, not a $1,000 mastermind.

Nothing. The group is entirely free, most events are free, and the occasional paid event is kept very cheap. This is not a $1,000 plus mastermind.

Where do events happen?
Around Miami: Brickell, Wynwood, South Beach, and the Design District, with members from as far up as Fort Lauderdale. Coworking happens monthly at cafes, and bigger speaker events run once or twice a year.
